I don't want to talk about my new job right now. I don't want to talk about any of the other silly things that have been running through my mind lately. I will only dwell on the soothing sweetness and regret of this song for this post. It used to be my favorite song by The Cure, before I discovered "Underneath the Stars" last year. It may be in second place, but I love it just as much. I'll never forget when Noel first had me listen to it, back in the old JFSB, back in the summer of 2008. Feels like an age ago...

I adore this song! You're so right, it's one you just have to sit and listen to -- let it soak in. It's so expansive in its sound, so encompassing.
